Born and raised at the foot of the Alps in northern Italy and passionately linked to my culture, I am inspired by the magic in everyday life.
I like to paint joyful, vibrant watercolours, transforming everyday scenes, often based on my Italian culture, and ordinary people, into protagonists of unique visual stories. Increasingly, as my work takes me to all corners of the Margaret River region, I'm find myself capturing little glimpses and heartwarming moments of everyday life along our wonderful coastline.
Whilst I work across various media and techniques, I find I’m constantly drawn back to watercolour, as I feel it best reflects the essence of my subjects. It’s meticulous, delicate and sensitive, it needs to be thoroughly planned, yet is notoriously unpredictable, fluid, full of wonderful accidents and is truly magical.
I guess I could define myself as a contemporary Impressionist.
