Margaret River Region Open Studios (MRROS), now in its 13th year, has grown into one of the regionโ€™s major cultural events, widely loved by locals and highly valued by visitors. Each year it attracts around 16,000 attendees, with 53% travelling from outside the region and typically staying 3โ€“4 nights.

In 2025, the event contributed an estimated $9 million to the local economy.

The event would be referred to as Margaret River Region Open Studios, presented by XYZ in media releases, the event guide, website and long-form marketing. An MRROS logo with sponsor acknowledgement is used as appropriate.

Venue Partner
$2500 + GST

  • This is a Venue that hosts a local Artist for the event who does not have a visitable studio

Venue partners need to be approved in advance. All participating artists are required to hold Public Liability Insurance with a minimum cover of $20 million for the duration of the event. By completing the registration, artists acknowledge and accept responsibility for arranging and maintaining this insurance. MRROS will not be liable for any claims arising from incidents at studios/venues, and it is the artistโ€™s responsibility to ensure adequate coverage is in place.

Advertise your business with the biggest art event of its kind in WA

The 2025 event was a huge success. Over 100,000 studio visits led to $2 million in art sales, adding an estimated $9 million to the local economy.

Our website had 56,000 unique visitors, and our newsletter database grew to 11,300 people. We distributed 21,000 printed Event Guides throughout Perth and the southwest, plus it was available as a free download on the MRROS website.

Advertise in the 2026 Event Guide

21,000 copies of the guide will be distributed from July 2026 to Jacksons stores, visitor centres, tourism hotspots, cafes and accommodation providers. Printed copied are free for visitors. These guides are used extensively by visitors to plan and navigate their studio visits.
