Through my work, I explore a quiet, even state of mind. Nature offers a place to step outside myself, restore balance, and be present. Painting becomes an invitation to pause, reflect, and exist without distraction.

By seeing and experiencing the landscape through paint, I come to understand my place within it. The raw beauty of the South West creates a connection between myself and the land, revealing a primal need to belong to something larger. Through painting, I respond to and embrace that connection.
In quieter, less touched places, I sense a deeper energy in the landscape—something that reveals itself if I take the time to listen. These moments teach me to slow down, to notice what is close, and to value what often goes unseen. In doing so, I move toward a more present, less hurried way of being.
