I am a self taught artist having positively been inspired by a couple of wonderful teachers at the local Tafe.
Also my up bringing in a cultural and artistic European background has given me a strong base to develop my creative passion.
Over the last few years I have been inspired by road trips in WA, NT, and Tasmania.
As a result new colour schemes and patterns with the introduction of textiles have developped into vibrant and colourful landscapes and seascapes which capture light, movement and and shapes.
Over the years I have been experimenting with various mediums including painting, sculpture, some metal work and mix media.
Up-cycling projects have been part of much of my previous years and continue to be an important feature of my art creations.
I transform recycled hubcaps into happy flowers and hand paint many wooden and metal garden decorations that you can find strolling around the garden , where native bushes and numerous birds will welcome you. A selection of paintings are displayed on my deck looking down Cicada Creek.
I am very lucky to be surrounded by 5 acres of natural beauty which is an important part of my daily inspiration.
