I have been creating in the visual arts for as long as I can remember. Colour and the interplay of form have always called me, serving as pure and powerful mediums that bring light and beauty into the world. My paintings are vibrant, abundant, and feminine, expressing the richness of our essential nature. They are works of love, crafted by my hand and offered to you, the viewer.
The colour and energy of the south west fills my work; its sparkling waters, pure winds and cooling forests. Local botanicals, wild flowers and swathes of glorious fluid colours find their way into my paintings, sometimes bold, sometimes subtle and always utilising the gentle, intuitive flow of water.
My visual background began in design and commercial art, where I earned a formal education in graphic design at Curtin University, Perth. Throughout my career, I worked in design and publishing firms both in Australia and abroad. These experiences deepened my appreciation for composition, colour, and the power of visual elements to convey emotion. This foundation in design now shapes the way I approach my painting practice. Drawn instinctively to water, I blend this understanding with my art, balancing fluidity with intention. My canvas holds space for both intuition and structure, a space where organic forms emerge while expressing my subjects with deliberate focus.
Through my paintings, I seek to capture the ephemeral present moment—the precious instant of pure connection, of a heart in full bloom.
