I am an Intuitive Artist currently working mainly in acrylics, although my love of oils needs to be revisited on a regular basis. I also dabble in watercolours and pastels when the inspiration guides me.
Intuitive Art comes from within, connecting with all that is and manifesting on the canvas with the making of marks.
Sometimes abstract, brushstrokes may evolve into landscapes known or imagined. The journey of finding a balance within colour, texture and the painting as a whole, helps me to reflect upon the connection I feel with our Mother Earth.
Formally, I gained a BA in Design from Curtin Uni.(1986 )many life times ago when the Earth was green, and more recently a Diploma of Holistic Counselling and Vocational Graduate Certificate of Artistic Therapies from Sophia College, Brunswick.

I seek to nourish my happiness by transforming my outer world on the canvas. By sharing my innate knowing in my paintings, I acknowledge the impermanence of life through seasonal glimpses and daily rhythms. I hope to take the viewer on a journey of discovery.
I also work on commissioned pieces of surrounding Wineries, rural scenes and local beaches from photographs I have taken.
