My art practice uses the foundations of printmaking processes. It is largely a solitary routine that honours the introvert in my personality and allows me to be immersed in WA.

My practice uses the foundations of traditional printmaking processes, enveloped in contemporary approaches including different methods, surfaces and textures to expand the perimeters of printmaking.
I create experimental and immersive art across intaglio, painting techniques and installations that tell stories of the land, the natural environment and the impacts of modern society.
The latest project called "Connecting with the land" is largely a solitary practice that honours the introvert in my personality and allows me to be immersed in the environment. Each artwork is a like a page of a book and tells the story of my routine, which is a collection of experiences.
Events
Printmaking workshop

Bring your photo with you at the studio and we'll generate an original print out of it! Through different traditional and experimental processes we will translate a photo or two from your journey to a cool print printed on cotton paper like back in the old days. We will also explore the screen printing method and print on fabric or cotton paper. This will give us an idea about the spectrum of options that the print making techniques can offer today. It’s a good way to focus on quality outcomes and push the artistic boundaries. You will leave with knowledge on how to continue this practice in your own home with little equipment. The world is yours to create with. Other things to note We are not working with toxic materials, all inks are water based though bring an old shirt incase you get dirty!

Screen printing workshop

Learn how to print your design on fabric! T-shirts, bandanas, aprons, tote bags and hoodies are what you can generate. Screen printing is an industrial technique that can be used also through creativity at the same time. Keeping the uniqueness of random combinations of colours and designs will develop amazing outcomes. This 90 minutes class will give us a good understanding about the potential of what we can eventually develop in the future back in the studio or at home.
