A little bit about myself...
I have always been artistic and come from quite a creative family. After finishing high school in Busselton WA I studied a B.A. in Visual Arts majoring in textiles and minoring in photography at Edith Cowan University Perth. My first passion however was dance and I went on to own and run the Dunsborough School of Dance for fourteen years. That business enabled me to fulfill many of my creative desires, including costume design and manufacture, as well as set design and construction. I organised big concerts thus furthering my confidence and skills as a business person. Painting for me was more of a hobby during those years, but I was able to do some commission pieces for family and friends and had opportunities to exhibit in local wineries and restaurants. In the early days, I was prepared to have a go at painting just about any subject which I think helped me to develop my skills. It was in 2020 that I decided to become a professional artist and I have not looked back. My work has been selected in various Art Awards and Exhibitions, which has given me some much-needed confidence in the highly competitive art world.

Currently, my medium of choice is acrylic paint but I am dabbling with H2O oils and I am becoming known internationally for portraying the beautiful Australian landscape and coastline in a realistic and sometimes impressionistic style. On my website you can view my gallery page showing examples of my artwork done over some thirty years, and perhaps you will see evidence of my growth.

Some of my available paintings and prints can be viewed at Tonic by the bay restaurant in Broadwater Busselton and Bay Furniture and Design in Dunsborough. Also if you like my style and want to commission a piece, please contact me to discuss options.
