Message from the patrons
As the inaugural Patrons of the Margaret River Region Open Studios we are delighted with the success of this very important arts project in the Margaret River region. Visitor numbers have grown each year, with the event providing the outlet for much of the work by local artists. Likewise the number of artists participating has continued to grow resulting in greater sales values being achieved. We wish the hard working organisational committee, under the Chairmanship of Jim Davies much continued success.

Tricia and Denis Horgan
Denis & Tricia Horgan AM, FCA
Denis Horgan and wife Tricia founded Leeuwin Estate, a boutique winery in the picturesque Margaret River district, 280km south of Perth, Western Australia, which has earned an international reputation for export wines that rank alongside the worlds finest.
A passion for art lead to their leading wines being bottled as “Art Series” with labels incorporating works from leading Australian artists whose works are displayed in an art gallery at the winery.
Annual concerts in the winery’s natural amphitheatre also support the performing arts and they have been credited with assisting to make the Margaret River area a ‘must visit’ destination for tourists.
Both Denis and Tricia are dual recipients of Western Australia’s highest wine industry and tourism awards and have both been admitted to the Order of Australia for their contribution to the Australia wine and tourism industries.
