Your opportunity to learn the skills to enable you to paint amazing waves (acrylics). Artist, Louise Collier, will show you how to capture the light and build the layers to capture the perfect wave. Cost includes all art materials needed, including a quality canvas and morning tea (BYO lunch) and a glass of wine or bubbles and nibbles afterwards to celebrate your achievements!.
This workshop is suitable for all levels. No experience is necessary. Children 12 and over allowed with an accompanying adult).
This workshop will be held at the Cultural Precinct in Busselton https://www.busseltonculturalprecinct.com.au/. Come and enjoy the creative vibes at this fab venue (the Fodder Room) in the converted stables area of the historic Busselton Gaol and Courthouse complex.
$185 per person includes: Guided step-by-step instruction and expert tuition from Louise will help you master this medium and subject matter.
Use of all materials provided including easel, table, chair, reference material, drawing materials, canvas with float frame, paints, brushes, palettes, water containers, rags and apron.
Delicious morning tea. (BYO lunch).
Glass of wine or bubbles and nibbles afterwards to celebrate your creation.

About the Artist

As a lover of the great outdoors, my subject matter is nature, especially water and coastal themes. I aim to bring a piece of the beautiful outdoors, indoors.
