Join Mel for an engaging workshop on the basics of dry needle felting. Discover foundational techniques and craft a small seascape artwork to proudly take home. Immerse yourself in Mel's light-filled studio, with its relaxing atmosphere, where birds sing and gentle breezes rustle through the gum trees.
The workshop includes all necessary tools for dry needle felting, including gauged needles and fibre along with a specialised felting pad. You will have access to a variety of textiles to use in creating your small landscape artwork. Additionally, tea and light refreshments will make for a lovely morning to enjoy and unleash your creativity.

About the Artist

Melanie is a versatile mixed media artist specialising in dry needle felting, watercolour and free hand embroidery, weaving together her English heritage, extensive travels, and love for Western Australia's natural beauty.
Drawing on her background in acrylics, watercolours, and textile arts, Mel's artworks capture the essence of landscapes, seascapes, and native flora with intricate textures using Merino wool, alpaca fleece, silk, and other natural fibres.
Based in Busselton, her purpose-built studio is a haven where her artistic vision flourishes, creating mesmerising pieces that resonate with viewers worldwide.
