Join artist Jaky Pinnock for a relaxed and playful creative workshop at Shelter Brewing Co. as part of Margaret River Region Open Studios.
Inspired by Jaky’s joyful naïve paintings and the art of urban sketching, you’ll explore simple ways to capture the buildings, landmarks and character around you, without worrying about perfect perspective or drawing things “correctly”.
Jaky will guide you through observing a place, simplifying shapes and adding colour, personality and your own story to create a wonderfully individual artwork.
No drawing or painting experience is needed this workshop is about slowing down, noticing your surroundings and enjoying the process of making art.
