Tamika is a self-taught painter specialising in land and seascapes. She is renowned for her large-scale depictions of the South West region, and in particular, her talent for capturing the distinctive coastal vegetation native to Western Australia.

As both a full-time artist and parent, she often explores the coast with her three-year-old son, gathering inspiration and reference material, then pouring that inspiration onto canvas in the studio, with an acute eye for detail and a masterful command of colour.

Tamika is self represented and has been selling her work directly to collectors around the world for 5 years.

"In many ways my work has become a gallery of recollections, of simple yet transcendental moments spent on country. If my work inspires you to pause a moment and revel in the magic of our natural word, then I feel I have succeeded as an artist." - Tamika
