My studio is located in Windmills Close off Shallows Loop in the peaceful Yallingup Hills. If you are travelling on Caves Road or Commonage Road, Yallingup, it is a small diversion to reach my property. From Commonage Road, turn into Marrinup Drive at the T Junction. Continue until you reach Sheoak Drive. Turn right and then left at Shallows Loop. Windmills Close is the last intersection on the left. From Caves Road, the best route to take is along Marrinup Drive. Travel for several kilometres and then turn left into Shallows Loop. Windmills Close is the first turn on the right. I will have signs on Sheoak Drive and Marrinup Drive to help you find your way to 7 Windmills Close.

Iโm delighted to welcome you into my world of art and to be part of this vibrant local event. My practice is shaped by joyful life experiences and the uplifting energy of the Margaret River Region, where the coast and forests continually inspire my creativity and sense of connection to place.
I would likely have made more art over the years if I had not been busy enjoying the great outdoors, long summers, skydiving, scuba diving in remote areas, skiing for months at a time, and heading off on long walks and cycling adventures. These experiences have become central to my work. My art is where I relive those moments, the adrenaline, the beauty and the freedom, recreating that natural high through paint and process.
Working across watercolour, acrylic and mixed media, I blend styles and techniques to create contemporary works that are expressive, layered and full of movement. Experimentation sits at the heart of my practice, guiding my exploration of materials, mark making and process. My paintings carry a sense of energy and lightness, reflecting personal experience and a desire to create work that feels alive and engaging.
Since 2019, I have exhibited regularly and have been honoured to receive the overall Peopleโs Choice Award at the Quindalup Artist Biennial Exhibitions in 2024 and 2026. My coastal and forest inspired works have developed a strong following among collectors who are drawn to their vibrancy, texture and sense of place.
My detailed works on paper are often influenced by outdoor activity and travel, each piece holding a narrative that invites interpretation. Living on the coast has deeply influenced my subject matter, with beach life and ocean energy flowing throughout my work.
More recently, my practice has expanded into textured works on wood and canvas, where I build layered surfaces using collage, vibrant inks, paint and sanding. These works evolve intuitively, resulting in pieces that balance depth, light and movement. Underwater scenes and abstracted forest environments have become a strong focus, offering collectors distinctive and immersive works that reflect the natural beauty of Western Australia.
I continue to have more ideas than I will ever have time to create, so opportunities like Open Studios keep me motivated, focused and inspired. Visitors can expect a welcoming studio experience and a diverse collection of contemporary works grounded in place, memory and the joy of lived experience.
