My name is Gonzalo Marinone. I am a self-taught jeweler maker and photographer, continually inspired by nature and the lifestyle of travel. Over the past 13 years of traveling, I've found myself unable to carry memories others than little materials and photographs; Through the creation of art with these materials, I've discovered my way of preserving these memories, akin to little time capsules wherever I go.
My journey into photography began long before my exploration of jewelry making. However, it wasn't until a few years ago that I began to truly pay attention to my urge to capture the essence of my surroundings and the natural world that I love and fell so inspired for. My jewelry pieces are crafted from a diverse array of materials and textures, respectfully collected during my travels. These include woods, shells, seeds, stones, silver, and an assortment of natural textures."
