Jacqui moved to Margaret River almost 40 years ago, chasing the surf after winning a number of competitions (including two State Championships!) in her teenage years.
Painting almost as long as surfing, she is inspired by the region's stunning coastline and majestic forests, using vibrant colours and special details to showcase the patterns, light and texture of the natural landscape. Her works include acrylic canvas and surfboard paintings featuring stunning seascapes, forest scenes and perfect waves of the South West, as well as abstract pieces, mermaids, sealions and other fantastical scenes.
Nodding to the region's early surfing culture and spiritual connection with nature, she invites her viewers to lose themselves in the long, warm days of an endless, magical summer.
Jacqui's work has received wide critical acclaim, winning awards such as:
Packers Choice Award Winner (Rivermouth Glow)
Margaret River Independent School Art Auction 2022
Highly Commended Artist Award Winner
