Mutch’s artwork depicts joyful narratives and playful landscapes - engaging and entertaining with intriguing levels of abstraction and details. His work is seen on a variety of scales, in the streets, on land, and in the studio.
Born in Africa, Ian Mutch draws inspiration from nature, travelling, cultures and patterns. After graduating Design & Advertising at Curtin University, Ian co-published the international street art magazine Kingbrown and has been an industry speaker at Agideas Melbourne, the Design Institute of Australia and Semi Permanent Sydney. Ian has also written and illustrated a children’s storybook titled “More and More and More”, published in Australia, South Korea and Turkey.
