Deanne Haddow produces paintings and drawings in acrylic, oils, watercolour, inks and gouache representing her observations and experiences of being immersed in the organised chaos of nature. A large part of her art practice incorporates textile arts such as shibori dyeing, screen printing and felting work.
Deanne is formally trained visual artist and art educator well established in the Margaret River Arts Community, exhibiting solo and in a variety of groups exhibitions over 30 years and lecturing in Visual Arts at South Regional TAFE campuses continually over the past 19 years.
Eight solo exhibitions and several art awards have accumulated during this time; the most recent awards being the Cossack Open Theme award in July 2024 and first prize at the MRRWF Visual Stories in 2016, and again in 2017.
