Congratulations on taking part in Margaret River Region Open Studios. It’s an exciting opportunity to share your work with art lovers, to welcome them into your creative space and hear how much they love what you do.
We will be sharing various resources on this page throughout the year, such as the new Artist Information pack, Instagram logo tiles and more. We’d love your suggestions if there’s anything else we can provide to make your Open Studios preparation smoother.
Artist Information Pack
Whether you’re taking part for the first time, or you’re an MRROS veteran, this comprehensive pack is sure to come in handy. Developed in 2022 by our volunteer committee members Sarah Hewer, Fi Wilkie and Kay Gibson with tips from many of our wonderful artists.
Artist Facebook Group
This is a closed facebook group for MRROS Artists and organisers. It’s a safe place to ask a question, share info and network with fellow artists. Click the button, request to join the group, and an administrator will approve your request.
Instagram Tiles and Logos
Share these Instagram tiles and logos on your social media channels to let your supporters know that you’re involved in Open Studios. Remember to tag us @margaretriverregionopenstudios each time you share ~ we’re always looking for quality content to regram.

This is a “Once in a lifetime” opportunity to hear directly from Michael about this art practice in detail. He will demonstrate his techniques, discuss his tools and materials, and share tips and tricks to create outstanding work.
This event is limited to 50 people and is a non participatory masterclass so bring a notebook, ask questions, and take advantage of this remarkable opportunity to learn from a master.

Michael is one of Australia’s leading artists and we are delighted to welcome him to Open Studios in his first ever visit to WA. Join us for a delicious continental breakfast by Supper Road followed by an insightful talk and Q&A session with Michael before Open Starts at 10am.
The session will be led by Open Studios Art Ambassador and leading Perth-based designer, and champion of the arts, Andrew Thornton Hick. Andrew is at Open Studios to connect our artists to state-wide art lovers, interior designers and architects.
