Hundred Dollar Cups of Tea — mornings at the wheel with Myles If you're up for an early start, come and sit with fellow art travellers over a cup of tea or coffee and a scone or two, before the day gets away from you.
Over thirty years at the wheel, Myles has been handed what he calls hundred dollar cups of tea — those unhurried conversations with other potters where something small gets said, and it quietly changes how you work forever. The kind of advice you couldn't have paid for. These mornings are his way of passing a few of them on, told from the wheel and in the rhythm of throwing, while the pots take shape in front of you.
But it isn't a lecture, and it isn't all about him. What story are you bringing with you? Whose studio are you off to next? Who are your favourites, and why? Make your tea, take a scone, pull up a chair. Stay ten minutes or stay the whole time — entirely up to you.
Saturdays September 12th, 19th, 26th Sundays September 13th, 20th, 27th Free. Register on the link below to make sure we have enough scones on the go!
