Painting a Still Life using a simple pallet.
Focusing on intense contrast to create dramatic form and dimension we learn to capture the light, interpret values, temperature and apply colour theory to create your artwork.
All workshop equipment and supplies provided. You will take away your painted canvas.
This workshop is aimed at beginners and those who have some experience.
You may want to combine my Introduction to Oil Painting Workshop on the previous day (Tuesday 15th) for an immersive two-day experience (discounts apply).
About the Artist
Capturing the essence of a moment Julie-Ann paints predominantly Contemporary Realism. Portraits and images inspired by nature form the subject matter of her oil painting practice. Speed portraits have been a focus recently.
