Wednesday 23 September, 10am - 4pm For those who have some experience or wish to expand on the knowledge gained from my Introduction to Oil Painting Workshop we will venture into painting a human portrait (face) using a simple pallet.
We begin with sketching paying attention to plumb line, facial planes and relative measurements. Using tonal values we create a monochromatic underpainting. Mixing from the classic Zorn palette we create a palette of skin tones to complete the portrait.
