For those who have some experience or wish to expand on the knowledge gained from my Introduction to Oil Painting Workshop (Tuesday 15th or 22nd) we will venture into painting a human portrait using a simple pallet.
We begin with sketching paying attention to plumb line, facial planes and measuring through observation. Using tonal values we create a monochromatic underpainting.
Mixing from the classic Zorn palette we create a wide range of skin tones to build a realistic complexion to complete the portrait.
All workshop equipment and supplies provided. You will take away your painted canvas.
