In this beginner-friendly workshop, you will be introduced to the fundamentals of wax carving as a jewellery-making technique. You’ll learn how to shape and sculpt jeweller’s wax using a range of specialised tools, exploring texture, form, and design in a hands-on, creative environment.
Guided step-by-step, you will create your own unique piece — such as a ring or small object — ready to be cast into metal through the lost wax casting process. Along the way, you’ll gain an understanding of how wax models translate into finished jewellery, as well as tips for designing with this transformation in mind.
This workshop is designed to be relaxed and accessible, with a focus on experimentation and personal expression. No prior experience is needed — just a willingness to explore and create.
