Alice works as an artist, researcher and publisher.

Working between digital and analogue processes, Alice constructs vibrant and compelling scenes, experiences and structures by making art strange.

Tangling mediums, her work holds and binds the boundary between the human and non-human with stylistic precision, saturated colour, and fine detail.

An interdisciplinary artist working across drawing, painting, publishing, film, and installation, her practice explores how artworks can act as value-recalibrating machines.

Her machines aim to change how humans perceive themselves as isolated from the ecological and re-engage with curiosity through familiar mechanical language: detailed instruction, manuals, and codices.

Drawing on spatial and systematic thinking shaped by her background in architecture, her work engages in a constant questioning of disciplinary boundaries.

In 2026, Alice started Unthing Press, an Australian artist-run publishing house dedicated to experimental fiction and creative practice. Founded in South West Australia, the press supports projects grounded in quality, tactility, and conceptual clarity, publishing a curated selection of finite editions — ‘unthings’ — for collectors and the wider arts community.

Open studios in 2026 will host the opening night for Unthing Press and the first publication, The Pigment Pictures alongside design drawings for the Big Blue House.
