I learnt all the fundamentals of art from my studies as a graphic designer in Perth. I worked in advertising agencies & in printing businesses, but was always drawn to art that was more creative & freer.
I like to experiment with different mediums & materials, & I come up with some unusual pieces, from glass work to mosaic, but I always prefer to paint.
I find myself immersed in my studio for hours, painting or pottering about, sometimes gazing out the window into the garden, where I get a lot of my inspiration from.
I have had many exhibitions in various places, but I sell most of my work from my studio.
My work has become more refined & I suppose has matured over the years, but it will always be bold & colourful.
