Tension, balance and erosion. Landforms that bump against each other or thrust to the surface with force. And the power involved in moving a shoreline each and every day

I am fortunate to have a beautiful studio that sits over and alongside a dam on a farm. Each day I am greeted by flocks of ducks, heron, martins and the occasional swans. I start most paintings with a clear idea and plan, then I change direction, get lost, lose hope, do a U turn, chastise myself, wonder if I will ever get home and promise myself not to stay again, yet know, next time that is exactly what I will do again. I have been professionally painting for some time and am represented by Yallingup Galleries and Linton and Kay Galleries. I look forward to, and welcome sharing my space, ideas and practice with everyone interested in visiting my happy place.
