Lara is an almost entirely self-taught artist who, only in recent years, found the time to explore and develop her skills further.
Lara’s journey as an artist began by creating the most intricate black and white pencil drawings using mainly animals as her subjects. She is forever expanding her expertise as she likes to experiment with new mediums, textures and colours.
As a multidisciplinary artist, Lara’s artworks range from loose watercolour paintings in an illustrative style over more realistic acrylic paintings to abstract artworks often influenced by Australian flora and fauna.
